Under the pilot period of Bataka court model since 2011 the Bataka
courts in only two parishes in Ruteete and Kyaterekera were able to handle
107 cases, resolved 81, referred 27 and also received eight from the
formal justice system. Bataka courts have continued to liaise with the
formal courts in terms of coordination and for Appeals mechanisms.
During modeling the model was tested and the following cases were
handled by the Batake Court Model as seen below
